DAAD Research grant for Doctoral Candidates


International Students Scholarship Research grant awards to applicants from Sub-Saharan Africa is subject to the limit of 32 years of age at the time the scholarship begins. Field research in the country is possible up to 9 months. The grants are open to all academic disciplines. German language skills are not expected. The DAAD International Students Scholarship will pay a flat-rate travel allowance, the appropriate monthly allowance and health insurance. There will be no money for research work.Application deadline: 30 September each year.

PhD Positions International Students Scholarship in Stem Cell Research

Early Stage Researcher (PhD) International Students Scholarship Transport and Signalling mechanism

International Students Scholarship Candidates with experience in soft matter physics, optical trap, automation instruments and / or biological physics are welcome. A basic knowledge of cell biology is also desirable. In addition to proven experimental skills candidates must have a strong interest in the theoretical background of the experiment. International Students Scholarship Characterization tools such as image / video analysis will be used and developed. Training will study towards a PhD and therefore applicants must also obtain admission as graduate students. According to EU regulations, a candidate can be any nationality. They must have less than 4 years of research experience and should not be in England for more than 12 months during the last 3 years.
