International Students Scholarship Research grant awards to applicants from Sub-Saharan Africa is subject to the limit of 32 years of age at the time the scholarship begins. Field research in the country is possible up to 9 months. The grants are open to all academic disciplines. German language skills are not expected. The DAAD International Students Scholarship will pay a flat-rate travel allowance, the appropriate monthly allowance and health insurance.
